No Family Walks Alone

How We Support

We do not tell you what to do. We help you to do it

At Family Support Coalition, we believe that caring for a child or young adult with disabilities or developmental differences affects the entire family. The caregiving journey can bring uncertainty, stress, grief, isolation, and emotional exhaustion. However, it can also be a journey of resilience, growth, and connection when families have access to the right support.

That is why mental wellness is a core part of our mission. We believe that families and caregivers deserve compassionate, accessible, and culturally responsive support that nurtures not only the individual with a disability or developmental differences, but also the well-being of those who care for them.

  • Emotional Support

A safe space to process feelings, ease grief, and feel truly heard.

  • Self-Care

Strengthening connections within families and partnerships under stress.

  • Community Connection

Belonging to a network of families who understand the journey.

  • Culturally Responsive

Care that honors your language, values, and lived experience.

Compassionate Support

Whether families are navigating developmental concerns, waiting for a diagnosis, adjusting to a new reality, or simply carrying the everyday responsibilities of caregiving, they deserve support that honors their experiences and empowers them to care for themselves as they care for others. Through our strategic partnership with selected mental health providers, our families have access to mental wellness resources that promote emotional resilience and well-being during what can often be a stressful and emotionally demanding process.
